Talking About Title Insurance
In conjunction with the awards night, Anna Macdonald and Paul Watkins were special guests on radio 6PR’s Saturday morning Property segment with Harvey Deegan. It generated lots of interesting questions from the public and was a great opportunity for the public to receive expert advice as to the benefits title insurance can offer in a real estate transaction.

Country Training Days in South Australia

This September was a busy month for Stewart Title in South Australia. We traveled to the lovely towns of Clare, Berri and Mt Gambier to meet country conveyancers.

Despina Veselinovski, one of Stewart’s Business Development Managers provided a one hour presentation on risk management strategies, how to implement procedures, giving advice, reporting and communication. She also discussed how unknown risks are drastically reduced by title insurance and how conveyancers can add value through StewartCONNECT.

The presentation was followed by a card draw and a prize was given to one lucky conveyancer. All in all, Stewart Title was proud to be a sponsor of the Country Training Days, and although this was our first time in the SA’s country towns, it definitely won’t be the last!

The prize winners at each location were as follows:
Mt Gambier - Leanne Jones from Zobel Conveyancing, winner of a $100 dinner voucher for two at the Presidential Hotel.
Berri - Haydn Brown from Speight & Brown Landbrokers, winner of a bottle of Moet Champagne
Clare - Sue Barry from Sue Barry Conveyancing, winner of a bottle of Moet Champagne

Adelaide Event - Dealing with Partnerships, Companies and Trusts

Stewart Title was the official sponsor for the AIC Dealing with Partnerships, Companies and Trusts event held in the Adelaide Pavilion on 15 September 2009.

Despina presented on illegal building work which was well received by everyone who attended.

Our lucky prize winner was Gen Stewart from Adcock Conveyancing, who is naturally our biggest merchandise fan given her surname.
